Test Day Helpful Information

Driving Test

Queensland Transport require you to provide a roadworthy vehicle for use in your test. This can be either your own vehicle or the popular option chosen by many of our clients is to purchase a Test Day Package from us which entitles you to the use of our vehicle for your test as well as a warm-up drive immediately preceding it.

Effective 1 July 2021 Queensland Transport require that all learner drivers must pass the Hazard Perception Test to be eligible to take the practical driving test. To avoid disappointment, please ensure that you have completed the HPT before arrival at the test centre for your practical assessment.

Forms are no longer required to be completed when arriving for your test as the process is now essentially paperless. Your valid learner license is the only thing that you MUST have with you when you arrive.

Your On-road Practical Driving Test is comprised of a 30 minute drive in the area surrounding the test centre where your test is booked with a Queensland Transport examiner sitting in the front passenger seat acting as an observer. You will be given clear directions to follow as per ‘The Message from the Driving Examiner‘.

You will be informed about the outcome of your test during the debriefing which takes place back inside the test centre at the completion of your test.

You have our best wishes for a Successful Test Outcome!
